Woodware Sketch Challenge 1

On the Woodware Blog this week it is a sketch challenge and here is mine.

I have used the Gerbera JGS251, it is a single large stamp. All the stamping was done with the Russet Chalk Yink, it was also used to edge the paper  and card layers. The main image was stamped on sticky backed canvas and then cut out, and coloured with the yellows and oranges from the Stargazer Mica pallet.  I removed the backing from the canvas and attached foam pads to the centre then brushed Pearl-ex powder on the sticky side of the canvas this prevents it sticking.
The canvas falls nicely to easily give shape to the flower.
the centre of the flower was filled willed with a punched out button and then a real button on top.
The Happy Birthday is from JGCL509

I hope you like this card to see the rest of the teams designs visit the Woodware blog.
More next week have a good weekend.

I love your take on this weeks sketch, and your large flower design is stunning. Great idea to stamp it onto sticky backed canvas and then colour with the mica paints. Will give that a try! xx
