Woodware Spring and Summer stamp release

Please take a look at the Woodware blog over the next two weeks to see card samples using the new Woodware stamps due out in January 2014.
Here is a little taster for you of one of the stamps I've designed and
featured on a card I made.

This is just a small area of the whole image

Woodware challenge - Good Luck

I've added a little sneaky peek of one of my new 2014 stamp designs on this card.....
it just so happens I have a mini stamp (JGS900) with the words 'good luck' on it along with another image which I won't reveal right now.
So it seemed a perfect opportunity to add it to my peel off card for this weeks post.
The peel off is in gold (code 94678) and I have coloured it in with
a black Sakura Stardust pen.
The black appears like a very dark blue/grey once you add a water wash.
Draw in some detail with the same pen.
I've added a strip of washi tape across the card too.

Woodware sketch challenge

I spent a fabulous day at A Maze of Memories in Oxfordshire yesterday. I did a demo in the morning and a class in the afternoon, so we were pretty busy!
Christina and the girls made cakes and the customers were wonderful.

For the demo I carried on the Woodware coffee and cream idea and made
some Christmas cards in those colours.
I had a few bits left over so I've used them on the card for todays post.

The stamp is JGS317 Many Christmases which has been stamped out four times. Once on cream card, twice on coffee/chocolate coloured card using brown Crafters ink and clear embossing powder. The fourth time onto cream card using gold embossing powder.
Then just cut them up!

The added punch holly using some music paper from a Craft Work Cards paper pad called Tea Dance Collection adds some festive cheer.

Woodware challenge, coffee and cream

As I've been very busy creating cards with my new Woodware stamps for Spring and Summer 2014, I've pulled out a card from my stash for this weeks post.

I've chosen coffee, chocolate and cream card, stamped with a Magenta image (I.0385) and white embossing powder. Then cut up the card into cheese shaped wedges, mixed them up and then stuck them down onto a card. Added a hand cut 'wave' from coffee coloured card and stamped a greeting along it. Finish it off with some punched flower shapes.

The flowers are old punches I'm afraid but Woodware have some great alternatives especially a new multi punch with several flowers and a leaf on it.
You can see all the new Woodware products on their web site.
