Woodware challenge - blue is the colour

This is a great theme for this weeks Woodware blog, I love blue and it
seems very fashionable right now.
Here I have done the 'faux' tile technique on white card using a stamp, blue crayon and ultra thick clear embossing powder.
The stamps I have used are JGS334 daisy panel, JGS302 viva la plume and
JGS324 in the frame ditties.
The blue card candi fits in really well especially as it has some tiny daisies
flowers on it to match the stamp design

woodware challenge….sketch 33

Here is my sketch for this weeks challenge using several stamps which include JGS341 Mini Flowers, JGS186 Georgina and JGS342 Leaf Quartet.
The background had been stamped and white embossed using the mini Dorothy stamps from Mini Flowers. I have then used distress inks to colour over.
You could use ColorBox cats eye pigment pads instead.
The large main flower Georgina has been coloured with marker pens and layered with the smaller version from the Mini Flowers set. The leaves too have been coloured with marker pens.
I have finished it off with liquid pearls on the flowers and leaves.

Woodware challenge with Creativity of Eastbourne....sweet treats

When I was last teaching at Grosvenor House Papers in Kendal last month we made a selection of chocolate themed cards, gift boxes and mini magnetic cards
and this is one of the cards we made.
It uses JGCL536 Chocaholic.
If you look on the tag I've you will see a shrink plastic chocolate.
I made my own sprinkles on the tops of the chocolates by cutting contrasting coloured thin strips of card and chopping them up into tiny squares.

Check out Creativity Cards and crafts web site, its  wonderful shop in Eastbourne
and Nina who owns the shop is full of inspirational ideas....

You can see Nina's card on the Creativity Cards and Craft Blog
You can also find Creativity Cards and Craft on Facebook.

Woodware challenge...only words

On my card today I have stamped a little verse from my
Hand Crafted By stamp set JGCL571.
Its all about a rubber stamper!
The verse is on the set along with lots of little funny sayings ideal to stamp on the reverse of your cards such as 'Queen of Stamping' and 'Wanted to show off my new stamp'.
My card also includes a few 'extras'....the crafty edger punch, Woodware's crochet flowers and self adhesive lace. There is also some background stamping using some
of the leaves from JGCL566 English Leaves.
