Woodware Challenge - Shining Silver

The silver peel offs framing this card and all the layers look so rich on the blues.
I've used lots of different peel off borders and in particular (one of my favourites!) the wide one around the card edge is 94110 Ribbon Border.
The image in the middle is a section of JGS273 Wheat, stamped on white linen card using white embossing powder. It is coloured over the top with pigment inks so the embossing powder acts as a resist.

Woodware Challenge Wedding Stationery

A quick card using silver bubble heart peel offs and purple marker pens.
The code for the bubble heart peel offs is 94258 in silver and the wording is 994257 again in silver.
They also come in black, gold and white.

Woodware Sketch Challenge

At the moment I'm obsessed with white embossing powder and inking over the top and my solid stamps are perfect for such a technique. Here I have used JGS274 Ferns to create the sketch challenge this week.

Using a textured card stock to stamp on also adds interest and inking up the background to match my backing paper creates an all over feeling of togetherness!

All you have to do is stamp and image using VersaMark ink and white embossing powder, heat till melted and once cooled (about 30 seconds) ink over the top with a pigment or chalk ink pad. Put the ink pad directly on the paper and swipe it around till you have a desired effect. Wipe off the excess and the ink that sits on top of the embossing powder and the image will jump right out, fabulous.

I've also inked the paper flowers with the same ink pads and have used a felt brad for the middle. The greeting is a 'sneak peek' from one of my new wording sets of new stamps due to be released in February.

Decorate the card with glitter glue, Card Candi and ribbon. Don't forget to edge all papers and card including the base card with the same ink pads. This card is an A5 tent fold.
