woodware challenge - sketch 45

A very girlie card for a fashion conscious teenager!
I have used a Dutch Doobadoo stencil on the top panel, a text stamp on the
lower panel and my trainer stamp set JGS389.
I've used a Copic marker to create the dots on the shoes and have
added pink glitter glue to the laces.

here is the sketch

Woodware challenge - texture, texture, texture

My texture is on my background.
I've used a Dutch Doobadoo stencil and Dreamweaver white embossing paste
to create the look and feel of snow.
The image is a new stamp from Woodware, code JGS199, a cute little house on a hill.

Woodware challenge - Mechanical designs

Rather than a card with moving parts I have made a card with cogs and wheels to show the 'mechanical' design.
The design is embossed onto a heart shaped piece of metal using a Dreamweaver stencil.
Coloured with dye ink and I've added some clock parts too.

The Mirror Cracked challenge - make a mask

Woodware are again sponsoring The Mirror Crack'd Blog

The Craft Barn in South Nutfield stock these paper mache masks among other
wood and paper mache products ready to decorate.

The pack of seed beads and fine glitter come from Stix2 and I had some
large clear, flat backed gems in my stash.

I covered the mask with Dreamweaver silver embossing paste, half at a time
and decorated first with the large gems pushing them into the thick paste.

Then sprinkled the large beads over the wet paste, then the seed beads and finally the glitter.

Repeat with the other side taking care not to touch the other half as it will still be wet.

I guarantee you will have seed beads and glitter everywhere on your work surface, but hey...its great fun and the mask is really stylish and sparkly!

Woodware challenge - New Home

One of the house images (there are three plus the words) from my new
Woodware set of stamps, code JGS408.
It's stamped in black and embossed with clear powder.
Coloured with Sakura Koi colouring brush pens.
The house itself is cut out and adhere to the base card with foam pads.
I like the little shadow that this creates.
Hand draw the grass and add dots of blue for flowers using the Koi pens.
I added glossy accents to the windows but it's not showing up on the photo.
