Woodware challenge - Thank you

Now's the time to batch make some thank you cards to send to all those nice people
who invite you to parties, buy you presents or have you round to stay over the festive holidays.
With a little help the children can make these simple cards with punched or die cut shapes.

Hand draw in the tail feathers and wing and the google eye adds a bit of fun.

Crafty Carmakers - non traditional Christmas

These are not traditional Christmas trees even though the stamp set has been
designed as a Christmas one.
Its quite modern and you can add so many things to the image.

Here I have stamped in black and embossed with clear powder.
Then gone over the whole image with  faded jeans Distress Ink.
Once that covered all over, I use thin, household bleach to take away the ink.
Use an acrylic paint brush and here I've painted bleach onto all the circles
and have given an outline to the trees.

I also added extra dots of silver glitter glue.

Add some star gems and ribbon to finish.

If you don't want to use bleach, stick some blue or silver gems over the circles.
