Woodware challenge - A card for a hobby

Here's a card perfect for a crafty sewer.

The stamp set is JGS 451 sew wonderful.

If you stamp the sewing machine onto black card and use gold
embossing powder, it looks like an old fashioned treadle machine.
Once stamped and embossed, cut it out and lay on top of the stamped image
on the cream backing card.

Draw in your own running stitch border using a 01 black Micron pen.

Add some lace, buttons and one of the other images from the same stamp set.

Woodware challenge - Boys will be boys

My fun card for mischievous boys.

I've used two stamps here, JGS456 The Blimps
and JGS455 Surprise! This stamp creates the illusion of a hole in the card
and I've made it look even more 3D by sticking a cut out of the image
on top using silicone glue.

Adding a goggly eye really makes this little Blimp into funny character.

Woodware challenge - aperture cards with punches

A simple and quite quick card to make with circles and snowflake punches.
I did cheat and use a large circle die for the aperture though!
The greeting is stamped inside and white linen effect card was used.

Die cut through both pieces of card
Showing the two pieces ready to edge with solver ink
before mounting onto the base card
Punch out several circles and snowflakes from
Woodware punches. Stick the snowflakes to the circles
Showing the snowflakes positioned on the circles
Arrange the circles around the die cut circle sticking
some flat and sone with foam pads. Add some silver
glitter glue dots to decorate (see main image)

Woodware challenge - Jane's bubble stamps

My card this week features one of the first Bubble Bloom stamps I designed named
after my friend Felicity or Fizz as she would prefer to be called.

I've designed it as a wedding card so everything is in white.
White embossing, white embellishments and white liquid pearls.
I've edged all the card with a silver pigment ink.

The card is 7" x 5" and I have used Woodware's linen card and some
nice Magenta vellum on the background.

A close up of the detail on each heart. One punched and embossed,
one punched and stamped and the third hear shape from a
Martha Stuart punch and decorated with liquid pearls.
