At the moment I'm obsessed with white embossing powder and inking over the top and my solid stamps are perfect for such a technique. Here I have used JGS274 Ferns to create the sketch challenge this week.
Using a textured card stock to stamp on also adds interest and inking up the background to match my backing paper creates an all over feeling of togetherness!
All you have to do is stamp and image using VersaMark ink and white embossing powder, heat till melted and once cooled (about 30 seconds) ink over the top with a pigment or chalk ink pad. Put the ink pad directly on the paper and swipe it around till you have a desired effect. Wipe off the excess and the ink that sits on top of the embossing powder and the image will jump right out, fabulous.
I've also inked the paper flowers with the same ink pads and have used a felt brad for the middle. The greeting is a 'sneak peek' from one of my new wording sets of new stamps due to be released in February.
Decorate the card with glitter glue, Card Candi and ribbon. Don't forget to edge all papers and card including the base card with the same ink pads. This card is an A5 tent fold.

Lovely Jane. I bought the fern stamp at the weekend to add to my collection! Can't wait for your new ones to come out.
Lovely Jane - will try your idea out. I bought the stamp at the weekend so now have the complete set. Love the look of the new grass stamp and can't wait to get it - such good value as well.
