Woodware challenge - Sakura glaze pens

This Woodware challenge to use Sakura pens was suggested by Françoise Read,
a stamp designer for Woodware and a confessed addict to Sakura pens of any sort!

I love Sakura pens too but the glaze are not my favourite, only because they draw quite a thick line and most of the colours are too bright for me.
The colours I have chosen though are the only three I really like!!

Glaze pens leave a raised finish that's shiny and slightly translucent.
Perfect for a stained glass effect.
I love writing and drawing with the black glaze pen.

On this card I have used my stamp JGS386 Mr & Mrs Cat.
The greeting is from JGS379 Everyday Verse.

I have redrawn around the cat outline with the black glaze pen and used it again to draw the dots and flower stems. Remember to allow the ink to dry before handling and cutting out. About 5 to 10 minutes should be enough.

A close up of the happy pair!
Hand draw the whiskers and eyelashes.
