Woodware challenge - PINTEREST inspired project

I made a storage sack from a thick study cotton fabric which I had stamped before
sewing together with some of the solid flowers from my stamp
set 'JGS381 Flower Head Selection' and JGS195 Claudia and a Crafters blue ink pad.
As you can see, its a great way to hold a stash of blue ribbon!

Cut two pieces of sturdy cotton fabric 18" x 9".
Stamp one with small flowers and one with the larger flower.
Iron to set the ink so it is permanent.
Sew fabric pieces together along the longest side.
Fold in half (stamped side inside) and sew along long side leaving a 3" to 4" gap.
This will make a tube.
Position tube so seam is down centre. Press seam open. Sew short ends.
Turn right side out through the gap in the seam. Push out corners neatly.
Hand sew gap closed.
Tuck small flower fabric inside large flower fabric.
Fold bottom corner points flat, this will make a square shape.
Sewing through all layers of fabric, stitch across corner of each side about 2" from corner.
Turn smaller flower fabric to outside and fold down inner rim if desired.

This is a super make! Having recently tried some tentative stamping on fabric, I was so pleased to spot your little storage sack. You've inspired me to try covering fabric with stamping too. Thanks for sharing the pattern instructions too. Elizabeth xx
