This week we are joining with The Mirror Crack'd Blog
I created this shadow box to display a floral arrangement of my punched paper flowers.
The theme is Shadow Boxes, and you can see lots of wonderful samples on their blog.
I created this shadow box to display a floral arrangement of my punched paper flowers.
It's about A5 in size with an outer cover of brown card decorated with a single flower.
The frame was made using four pieces of cream card, all the same length (24cm) and two
different widths to fit the size of the card.
You can make any width frame you want as long as the lengths of the four pieces are are all the same and that measurement divides equally by two.
Scoring every two centimetres, the card was first punched along one edge (the shorter edge) of each piece then folded concertina style along the score lines.
The ends of each concertina were woven or slotted into each other to create
the corners to complete the frame.
You will need to stick the corners together with using the first and last folds.
