I'm going to show off now.....I've had a quilling lesson!
I have never done quilling before but have always wanted to try it as I think the technique would complement some of my floral punch craft cards. But I have a long way to go yet!
I met up with some girl friends and had a class with the wonderful Eunice.
It was such a relaxing day and this is what we made....a pretty Christmas card with candles and poinsettia flowers.
As Woodware have a new craft tool that has a quilling tool with it along with three piercing tools and a craft knife it seemed a good opportunity to try it out. Each tool can be fitted into the pen handle and its brilliant, very comfy to hold and use.
The border peel off is from a Magenta sheet and the greeting is from my bubble tree sheet of peel offs. I've added some Stampendous sparkly dots to give it some festive cheer. And not a stamp in sight!
