Woodware challenge - Table decorations for Christmas
I just love making these Christmas trees from paper mache cones, Dreamweaver
white embossing paste and as many embellishments from my craft stash.
This can include buttons, sequins, gems, beads, card candy and more.
Just spread the paste in small area first, push in the buttons or gems, spread more paste
and continue till its all covered. Don't be tempted to cover the whole thing
with paste because it will start to dry before you have finished.
I've used a small sherry glass as my stand and have put some
chocolates in the glass as a surprise.
Why not make one for each guest at Christmas lunch with their favourite choccie in the glass.

Woodware challenge - sketch 56
I like this sketch and it lends itself to die cut letters brilliantly.
I've used my stamp JGS102 Rudolf and have coloured him in with Copic and the Pointillist technique. It's lots of dots basically.
I like to colour my background with a light shade and use three darker
colours to do the dots. I've added a grey line under the image
outline to create a shadow effect.
You will need a set of die cut letters and cut up some little squares to fit.

Woodware challenge - Christmas greetings for the men in our lives
My slipper stamp set JGS428 man slippers, has come in very handy for this weeks challenge!
Stamped in black, they have been coloured using a combination of Copics
and marker pens to create the 'tartan' effect.
I've used two mini pom poms as decoration and have stamped a tag onto shrink plastic.
I had to write the 'to my husband' underneath the greeting using a permanent pen!
It adds a personal touch I think!
