Woodware challenge - Make Christmas special with Metallic F/X

My photo doesn't really show how metallic this background to my card is. Shame!

But this is what I did.....

Emboss your image (I used JGS458) with white embossing powder and heat set.
Mix up a teaspoon of hand sanitiser gel with a little
Dreamweaver Metallic F/X of your choice of colour.
Brush this over your stamped piece and wipe away the excess with kitchen paper.
Thats it! Its really easy and very effective.

I've coloured in the berries with a marker pen or you could use a white pen.

The mixture you make will colour a few pieces of card so have some
spare stamped images ready.
Add more powder to the gel to make a darker colour.
Just experiment, you can't go wrong.

Use a wide flat brush to apply the gel
P. S. you will find some extra pictures on Woodware Witterings I was fascinated by the technique! Dorothy

Woodware challenge - A 'POP' of colour

For this weeks challenge I have embossed my snowflake flower (JGS461) with
white embossing powder and have made a wash of colour with a marker pen.

Highlight the shapes for that 'pop' of colour with the same pen.

Add some glitter glue to give it a bit of sparkle.

Woodware challenge - A time of mellow fruitfulness

This title is a challenge!

I don't have any 'fruity' stamps.

I've chosen a favourite card of mine from the archives and I think its perfect
for this weeks challenge as its coloured in fruity colours!!

Colour lots of differently sizes circles with dye inks, stamp over the top
and assemble to what ever size you like.

Woodware challenge - Sketch 54

I've put this weeks sketch challenge the other way round as it suited my idea better.

I've used my football stamp set JGS477. A Dutch Doobadoo Mask Art Abstract stencil and some washi tape.

All the images are on the stamp set.

here is the original sketch

Flip it, fold it and frame it demo

Just a little reminder that I'll be demonstrating and teaching at
A Maze of Memories near Thame, Oxfordshire
on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th September.

Both days are the same topics and I demo in the morning and the class is in the afternoon.

Here is a little taster of flipping and folding!
