Woodware challenge - Traditional Christmas

What could be more traditional than a snowman? These two are firm
friends and are out to have a good time.

Here I have used my stamp JGS109 skating snowmen

With a little antiquing effect with ink around the edges and some glitter glue, this card is really simple and quick.

Don't for get to check out what the rest of the team are up to this week on Woodware Witterings!

Crafty Cardmakers challenge - by or under the sea

Woodware are once again sponsoring and playing along with Crafty Cardmakers

Here is my card for the challenge only I had a tiny problem...

As I don't seem to have any under water or sea themed stamps I had
to create something from scratch.

I've drawn a submarine and cut it out of grey card.
The surface of the sea is made from lots of 1" punched circles stuck to a strip
of card and then ink over.
I used bleach to create the air bubbles and have added some
hand drawn seagulls and white pen highlights.

I like this submarine so much I think it could be a stamp in the
making so watch this space folks!

Woodware challenge - Gem overload!

You can't have enough shoes…..here is a pair to die for using a new
Woodware stamp JGS476 Glamour Shoes.

Use lots of self adhesive gems, pearls, dots of liquid pearls and anything else you
can cram onto these stylish shoes.

The card is cut away above the top of the shoes revealing the lovely
lace paper (also from Woodware) in the top right hand corner.

The black and white text paper is from Forever in Time paper pads 'Vintage 2".

Woodware challenge - Black and White

Everybody loves a black and white card.
Here I have used several new Woodware stamps with a music theme.

Stamps used are JGS110 music notes, JGS111 sheet music and the words on the white shrink plastic are from JGS481 hand drawn sentiments.

I have also added black peel off music notes (code 91703), Clear Scrap border music notes, these are acrylic shapes you can ink, paint and stamp on. Here I've just used a music note that I have dipped into Stampendous aged black embossing powder (FREG026).
Be careful when you do this as then you melt the embossing powder the shape becomes soft and will curl. Leaving it to cool on a craft mat it soon becomes reasonably flat again.

I've added a wrap around using a brilliant tag punch from Woodware (CP-807 tag top punch) and some self adhesive music themed ribbon. I had in my stash.
