Woodware challenge - Sketch 52

This 7" x 5" card is made using JGS434 but the greeting comes
from JGS449 Bubble Bloom - Lynell.

The oval is a die cut and I've stamped the image in black and again onto
the background turquoise card.

I have coloured in the flowers using Sakura colouring pencils.
I've stuck to four colours and they blend really well when used onto of each other.

So here is the sketch that we were following

Crafty Carmakers - 1 stamp, 2 papers, 3 embellishment!

Woodware are once again sponsoring and playing along with Crafty Cardmakers
Here is my card for the challenge.
My one stamp is JGS446 whimsical flower - Sally Anne.
My two papers are from the 6" x 6" Paper pads 'Forever in Time' range from Woodware.
My three embellishments are a paper flower, buttons and self adhesive lace.

I have coloured the image with Sakura Koi pens on watercolour card and have drawn in my own border and background with a fine tipped Micron pen from Sakura.

A close up showing my hand drawn detail on the
background using a Sakura micron pen 02.

So why not play along too? Crafty Cardmakers 123

Woodware challenge - vintage and lace

This is a nice subject……vintage and lace.

My project this week is a darling little display shelf unit from Woodware.

Made from MDF, it's about 12" across.
The back is loose for easy painting and decorating.
It's a good idea to sand it down before painting.
Once decorated, stick together with a wood glue.

I've painted it with cream acrylic and have used patterned papers on the back panel.

The large flower is my Whimsical Flower - Sally Anne JGS446 and I've coloured it with regular crayons. I've also used shrink plastic for sweet little messages, buttons, liquid pearls, self adhesive lace and style stones.
All the products can be bought from your nearest Woodware stockist.

We have prizes so would love you to join in with us as we hop around the world for 2 whole weeks, REMEMBER the hosts are House-Mouse and Friends and they are a challenge blog so to play along please add you link on their blog we are really looking forward to seeing your creation there, full instructions and links are at the bottom of this post.

This is a similar project to last weeks post. I'm using the same
House-Mouse Cup Cake Coma stamp but showing a different template from Dutch Doobadoo
and a different stencil from Dreamweaver.
The little greeting comes from a stamp set called JGS436 dotty flowers.

Draw and cut round the Dutch Doobadoo
stencil 470.713.540. Ink all edges of shape
Using the template, cut two shapes from white card,
ink edges and stencil with LJ909

Assemble triangular box and stick the two stencilled
panels on front and back
Another view of the box showing the depth, just
big enough for a piece of cake!

Now off you hop around the blogs you will find design team links as you go..
