Don't you just love black and white cards? They look so stylish so I hope you like my idea for this weeks Woodware challenge.
I have stamped the image from JGS330 Summer Weeds several times onto white and black card using clear embossing powder and black ink on the white card and white embossing powder and VersaMark ink on the black card.
Using different sized circle punches from Woodware, punch circles
from the black and white card.
Stamp the image using black ink several times onto a large piece of white card
and emboss with clear powder.
Layer the circles on top of this matching with the image underneath.
I have edged the white circles with a little black ink to make them stand
out from the background a little more.
The greeting comes from JGS324 In the Frame Ditties.

Woodware challenge....sketch no 30

Another idea using new stamps for spring and summer 2014.
This stamp design is inspired by Indian fabrics and the colours for the card
are like the colours of beautiful flowing saris.
I've used gold embossing powder on shades of purple, lilac and pink. I really like the richness of the gold on the purple.
The two stamps used are JGS343 Indian Flowers (for the single cut out flower and sentiment) and the background is JGS344 Indian Summer.

Here is the sketch that I have been following

Woodware challenge...retirement

Here is a retirement card for a lady, we always seem to presume
retirement cards are for men.
I've used one of my new images from 2014 release. This is JGS334 Daisy Panel.
I've stamped and embossed the image and coloured the background with ink pads and have used marker pens to colour in. The white Sakura pen adds highlights and detail.
I have use SSC055 Retro Alphabet set from Stampendous for the
sentiment stamped in purple ink.
